Tradition pipes

‘Tradition’ pipes are made from rough machine-made (preturned) stummels and finished by hand according to my fantasies.  I select them personally at Saint-Claude in France where they have benefited from a long drying (minimum 20 years) in optimum conditions, the briar is therefore perfectly dry and most of the time very appreciated from the first smoking.  I then assemble these blanks with stems either made by hand from raw bars of German quality (in ebonite, cumberland or acrylic), or from machine-made (sketched) stems but always finished by hand. These pipes benefit from the same technical rigor as that of handmade pipes, whether for the assembly, or the drilling of the shank (4mm minimum) or the finish of the bit and lips aiming for an optimal draw & comfort. Their finish can as well be smooth, sandblasted or rusticated. I have several sketches for certain shapes, so do not hesitate to contact me for a personalized order.
