François Dal – Tradition 2021 – (on stem) δ |
Out of stock
It’s a while since I last presented this model made popular by singer Bing Crosby who gave the shape its name: compared to the Billiard, the shank is thinner and slightly longer, it is adorned with a silver ring and is mounted with a long stem, here cut from a bar of green / black cumberland, German quality (NYH). Another major feature of this shape in my opinion is the chamfered rims. This Bing characterizes classicism and British elegance, while still being very fashionable. It is here stained in a medium brown and the briar is cut in cross grain, with horizontal flames on the front face, the back face and under the base of the stummel and the shank. The flock is in teflon (nylon) and the shank is drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 10 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude. A tamper visible on pictures (no pipe cleaner integrated) is also offered.
Produced in this year 2021, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2021′.
