François Dal – C16 – (on stem) Delta |
It is always with a little doubt and apprehension when you decide to sandblast a briar, and all the more with a briar that has dried over 20 years, but luck was on my side with this pretty canted billiard. Indeed, ring grain discovered admirably. The bamboo mounting is decorated with two blue cumberland rings that add an original touch to the set. The flock is teflon (nylon) and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 25 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced at the end of 2016, it is therefore stamped ‘C 16’ (‘C’ for the Custom series, now renamed Tradition).
