The particularity of this Cherrywood Bamboo is the bamboo itself, a piece that came from an ancient reserve, rested for more than 25 years, and which oxidized naturally to acquire this lovely patina. The hand-cut cumberland stem recalls the smoothed top rims and contributes to the overall harmony. The flock is teflon (nylon) and the shank drilled at 4mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (cut concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 25 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced at the end of 2016, it is therefore stamped ‘C 16’ (‘C’ for the Custom series, now renamed Tradition). A star is also added to indicate that the stem was made by hand.
