For the pleasure of the eyes only, I share with you the pictures of this Prince as it is one of the last orders I accepted (I don’t take orders anymore 😉 ). As desired by the purchaser, it is finished in black Lunar (with irregular craters and protruding but soft protuberances under the fingers, which favour the grip), with the rims and base smoothed and stained in light brown. The shank is reinforced with a silver ring
which contrasts with the long ebonite stem which is cut from a green/black bar from the German company “SEM” (Schönberger Ebonite Manufaktur), which is known worldwide as the best quality ebonite. The flock is made of Teflon and the shank is drilled at 4.2mm. The concave slot of the mouthpiece is well opened in a V shape for an optimal draw. The briar, which comes from the Chrétin workshops in Saint-Claude (an establishment that closed its doors in the 1980s and 1990s), has been drying for over 30 years!
Produced in the year 2022, it is therefore marked ‘Tradition 2022′.
