François Dal – Tradition 2020 – (on stem) δ |
Here is a Pot shape model designed specifically to accommodate ‘Semois’ tobaccos: the chamber is particularly wide with thick walls and can also be suitable for tobacco in ‘flake’ section. The finish here is smooth with a briar showing very nice cross grain, with flames at the bottom and upside, stained in buchskin color. The stem is hand cut from a cumberland rod. The shank is also reinforced with a wide nickel olive ring. The flock is in teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar, from the workshops Chretin in Saint-Claude (which closed in the 80s-90), has between 30 and 40 years of drying!
Produced in the end of 2020, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2020′.
