François Dal – Tradition 2024 (on stem) δ |
Out of stock
This is a Billiard in sandblasted finish and stained black. The deep sandblasting reveals a structure in ring grain. The end of the shank is strenghtened by a thin coppered ring which makes the transition between the shank and the black handcut ebonite stem. The mouthpiece is very thin (3.7mm thick before the knob), so this model is best suited to smokers who don’t mark their stems. The generous chamber classifies it as Group 5 (21.2mm diameter by 4.8mm deep). The flock is in teflon (nylon that manages well the temperature’s variations) and can be fitted with 6mm filters, the shank is drilled to 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (concave cut) is open in a V-shape for optimum draw. The briar, from the Chrétin workshops in Saint-Claude (which closed in the 80s and 90s), has been drying for over 30 years!
Produced in the year 2024, it is therefore marked ‘Tradition 2024’.
