Here is a Lovat shape in a sandblasted finish and stained in black. The sandblasting is nicely variegated, revealing an offset cross-grain structure. The saddle stem is made out of an blue-black ebonite rod from the German company “SEM” (Schönberger Ebonite Manufaktur), which is known worldwide as the best quality ebonite. The end of the shank is strenghtened by a brass ring which makes the contrast between briar and stem. A second ebonite stem, antique pink in color (see photos), is offered although not part of the sale. The flock is in teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 15 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.

Produced this year, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2022′.

	This pipe is new and has never been smoked.
