François Dal – Tradition 2018 – (on stem) δ |
Mounted with an old chiseled brass ring and a horn stem with nice contrasts, this Billiard has a vintage and refined look that I like very much. The ‘Lunar’ rustic finish gives this elegance of character and personality. The floc is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The horn is a softer material than ebonite, known for great comfort in use, it is also more prone to markings, reason why the bit is designed thick, to last. The slot of the mouthpiece is kept as it is, so it is a round hole in the horn, which does not affect its very good draw. The briar has more than 20 years of drying in the drying rooms and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced in 2018, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2018’.
