If it is a form that symbolizes the classicism and the elegance of the pipe, I will only remember the Bing. Here in sandblasted finish, this model reveals a ‘ring grain’ whose character counterbalances the somewhat ‘dandy’ paces of this shape. A golden brass ring takes care of the transition between the briar and the cumberland stem. A very nice model! The flock is teflon (nylon) and the shank drilled at 4mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (cut concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 25 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced at the end of 2016, it is therefore stamped ‘C 16’ (‘C’ for the Custom series, now renamed Tradition). A star is also added to indicate that the stem was made by hand.
