François Dal – Handmade 2017 – (on stem) δ |
Here is the Cutty model, currently one of my favorite shapes, made to order. The nicely flamed briar is stained in brown / chocolate. The shank is decorated with a short silver ring and mounted with a German ebonite stem, colored in the mass, here of color ‘briar’.
The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (carved concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar, of Corsican origin, benefited from a year and a half of drying by my supplier and an additional year on my reserve..
