François Dal – HM17 |
A freehand halfway between the Cherrywood shape and the famous Flower, which I attribute unreservedly to Master-Pipemaker Pierre Morel. The very flared line on the front gives it a pleasant dynamism and the stem in colored ebonite marries at the end of the shank the brush, with a hypnotic design. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar, of Tuscan origin, benefited from a year and a half of drying by my supplier and an additional year on my reserve..
