François Dal – HM16 |
The completely smooth bowl of this bamboo has a pretty flamed grain, in a contrasting stain and polished with carnauba wax. I made the choice of sanding and polishing the knots of the bamboo for a more fluid line. The green cumberland stem plays contrasts with the very light bamboo. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar, of Tuscan origin, is extra dry and benefited an additional year of rest in my drying room.
