François Dal – Handmade 2017 – (on stem) δ |
Of all the classical shapes, the Bulldog is for me the most complex to realize, in the sense that I have no lathe to preform the stummel and that everything is done with lapidary sanding. This model is quite stocky, with a shallow chamber, group 2, which makes it light and is forgotten in mouth. The floc is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for optimal draw. The briar, of Tuscan origin according to the supplier, has benefited from a year and a half of drying at the supplier and 4 more months in my reserve.
