François Dal – Tradition 2017 – (on stem) δ |
I am happy to present a nice model of billiard with rounded walls, specially mounted to accommodate 9mm filters. Its sandblasting reveals a briar in cross grain, with the birdseyes located on the flanks. Chamber’s dimensions (2,02 by 4,33cm) allows to classify it in group 4 or 5 based on the Dunhill classification. The Tan stain shows honey-colored reflections depending on the ambient light. The stem, handcut from a German bar of ebonite, is decorated with a briar washer. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (carved concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. Briar has more than 15 years of drying in the granaries of Chacom in St-Claude.
Produced in 2017, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2017′.
