François Dal – Handmade 2017 – (on stem) δ |
The completely smooth stummel of this Brandy bamboo presents a very nice flamed and tight grain, in a contrasting stain and finished with carnauba wax. The base unveils bewitching birdseyes. The bamboo is expressly cut very short to meet the demand of the commissioner who wanted a pipe of a maximum length of 13cm. The stem is cut in a colored ebonite bar (cumberland) of German quality. The floc is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for optimal draw. The briar, of extra quality, comes from Mimmo Romeo and has benefited from at least eight years of drying.
