François Dal – Tradition 2018 – (on stem) δ |
Here is a large smooth billiard with partial rustication on the shank and a brown yellow stain. The end of the shank is reinforced by a silver ring. The stem is hand cut from a raw German ebonite bar (NYH), shaped in saddle bit. The chamber is generous (2.24 x 4.9) and is comparable to a group 6. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled to 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece, carved concave, is open V-shaped for optimum draw. The briar, from the workshops Chretin in Saint-Claude (which closed in the 80s-90), has more than 30 years of drying!
Produced in 2018, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2018′.
