François Dal – Tradition 2018 – (on stem) δ |
Here is a large flamed smooth billiard with a medium brown stain. The end of the shank is reinforced by a silver ring. The stem is hand cut from a raw German cumberland bar (NYH). I have here deliberately gave a shape of warhead to the stem, it is an aesthetic choice of course, it seems to me that it gives more body while remaining very classic. The chamber is generous (2.12 x 4.9) and is comparable to a group 5. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled to 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece, carved concave, is open V-shaped for optimum draw. The briar, from the workshops Chretin in Saint-Claude (which closed in the 80s-90), has more than 30 years of drying!
Produced in 2018, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2018′.
