François Dal – Handmade 2021 – (on stem) δ |
Out of stock
Here is a model of Cherrywood shape in sandblasted finish and ‘chocolate’ stain. The end of the shank is adorned with a horn extension and the stem is cut in a rod of cumberland (you may say stained ebonite) from the german producer SEM, in the colors elaborated for and with the famous pipemaker ‘Lee von Erck’. The sandblast show here a very nice ring grain, with well narrow rings, and the rims are smoothed to discover the birdseyes of this Tuscan briar. The flock is in teflon and the rod drilled at 4.2mm. The bit of the mouthpiece (cut concave) is well opened in V for an optimal draw. The briar, of Tuscan origin, has benefited from a year and a half of drying at the supplier and 5 additional years in my reserve.
