François Dal – Tradition 2018 – (on stem) δ |
Here is a classic model of bent Dublin, in brown/mahogany stain. The shank is adorned with a cumberland washer and a handcut acrylic stem in yellow/orange/black tiger color plays contrasts. Sandblasting on the surface reveals a nice mixed grain with well-spaced rings. The chamber (2.14 x 4.1) can be easily categorized into a large group 4. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 15 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Saint-Claude.
Produced in 2018, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2018’.
