| François Dal – Tradition 2018 – (on stem) δ | |
Elegance and assertive character emerge from this long straight Dublin/Pot, mounted with a hand-cut stem from a German cumberland rod, with the end of shank strengthened by a vintage chiseled ring. The Rustiblast finish (which I’ve wanted to test for a long time) is, as the name implies, a sandblasted and rusticated finish on the surface. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 20 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced in 2018, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2018’.
