François Dal – Tradition 2018 – (on stem) δ |
Here is an elegant variant of the classic billiard shape: the shank is slightly longer and I added an extension in “bubinga”, tropical african wood. It is mounted with an acrylic stem. The light sandblasting reveals a few rings & a mix grain, and the smooth rims are chamfered and stained to make the recall of the extension. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 20 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced this year, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2017′.
