François Dal – Handmade 2021 – (on stem) δ |
Out of stock
Following the eggish Billiard offered a few weeks ago, here is from the same family, the eggish Acorn, a crossbreeding between a egg stummel and an acorn bottom & shank. In smooth and flamed finish, the end of the shank is adorned with boxwood & cumberland washers. The stem is cut from a bar of German grade cumberland (NYH). The flock is in teflon and the rod drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (cut concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar, very old, comes from the reserve of the retired pipemaker David Enrique, who had himself chosen this plateau from Marco Biagini, and David was able to estimate its age at 25 years minimum.
