| François Dal – Handmade 2018 – (on stem) δ | |
What a pleasure to work such a briar! So here is a Cherrywood shape. The size is not big but it still accommodates a housing for 9mm filters. The end of the shank is adorned with an acrylic washer imitating yellow amber, and the stem is hand cut from a limited edition (SEM) ebonite, in Prussian Blue color. The floc is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (concave) is well open in V for optimal draw. The briar, of Corsican origin, has benefited from a year and a half of drying at the supplier and 2 more years in my reserve.
