François Dal – Tradition 2018 – (on stem) δ |
Seeming to be cut in black quartz, this billiard has glossy reflections due with its rustic finish. Its well generous chamber (4.8×2.13) promises long smoking sessions. The floc is teflon (nylon) and the stem pierced at 4.2mm. The concave lens of the mouthpiece is well V-shaped for optimal draw. Please note that the bit is more thick than usual, a choice I made due to the weight of the pipe. The briar has more than 20 years of drying in the drying rooms and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced this year 2018, it is therefore marked ‘Tradition 2018’. It is also marked with a star-shaped punch surrounded by a half-moon for its ‘Lunar’ finish.
This pipe is new and has never been smoked.
The stummel is in pristine condition, showing no apparent stroke or claw.
The chamber is new, with coated chamber.
The lucite stem is new and there is no tooth mark and no claws. |
