François Dal – C16 – * – (on stem) Delta |
Composed of a ‘Tomato’ shape stummel turned in Saint-Claude in France and a handcut stem from a violet cumberland rod of German quality. A brass ring makes the transition between shank and stem. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draft. The briar has more than 25 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced at the end of 2016, it is therefore stamped ‘C 16’ (‘C’ for the Custom series, now renamed Tradition). A star is also added to indicate that the stem was made by hand.
This pipe is new and has never been smoked.
The stummel is in pristine condition, showing no apparent stroke or claw.
