François Dal – Handmade 2018 – (on stem) δ

Here are 11 models made to order.  For 10 of them, it is the shape “Chimney”, here in sandblasted finish and dark mahogany color, whose shank is adorned with a sterling silver ring and mounted with a German quality cumberland or ebonite stem (SEM) from limited edition ‘Prussian blue’ color.  The 2x5cm chamber promises long smoking sessions. The sandblasting reveals very nice rings and counterveins forming this spider web look pleasing to the eye.  The pipe in the center is a Cherrywood shape with virgin Lunar rusticated finish, it is the price for the winner of the contest that will be held with the Chimneys.  The flocks are cut in the mass and shanks drilled at 4.2mm. The slots of the mouthpieces are well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar, of Italian origin, benefited at least from a year (I guess much more) and a half of drying and 18 more months in my own reserve.
