With several dings and traces of use on the rims and under the bit, this Stanwell of the Silhouette series confirms that she is no more 20 years old – she must even be at least 47 since produced in the 60s – But it remains pleasing to the eye and can still resume service.

	This pipe has been smoked and is in an acceptable state.
	The stummel is in good condition, with few small scratches.
	The chamber of the pipe showed some tiny cracks after cleaning. So it has been completely cleaned and then professionally recoated to preserve it and increase its lifetime.
	The stem is in good condition. There is however a tooth mark under the mouthpiece.
	This pipe was cleaned and disinfected, you can obviously continue cleaning according to your own criteria.
