François Dal – Handmade 2017 – (on stem) δ |
Here is another Cutty but in shorter version. It shows beautiful rings in its sandblasted finish and is stained in a dark mahogany. The silver ring comes from an old stock and takes care of the transition with the ebonite stem. The chamber is coated not to hide a shameful defect (these pipes end up in my personal collection) but to protect the walls of the briar. This coating is made from natural materials (no liquid glass). The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar is of Tuscan origin.
