| François Dal – Handmade 2018 – (on stem) δ | |
The briar is a capricious wood but she knows to book nice surprises when patience. This model concealed concentric rings, wide and tortuous, ideal for a deep sanding of several hours! The stem is cut in a bar of German ebonite (SEM), in a ‘briar’ color. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar, of Tuscan origin, benefited at least from a year and a half of drying (I guess much more) and 1 more year and a half in my own reserve.
