So this is a Dunhill Shell Briar from 1966 (confirmed by the year suffix 6 after ‘Made in England’). Code 39 F/T is the Billiard shape, in Group 3 chamber with saddle stem (fish tail). A star * is stamped above the code 39, indicating a potential repair in workshop but I do not see anything apparent on this pipe, it is probably a stem replacement as it is in very good condition. The pipe is still in good condition of use for its age and is therefor a very good opportunity.
