The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (carved concave) is well open in V for an optimal draw.  The briar, of Tuscan origin, benefited at least from a year (I guess much more) and a half of drying and 1 more year in my own reserve.
