François Dal – Tradition 2017 – (on stem) δ |
Working from an initial Cherrywood shape, the shank has been shortened to give it the look of a ‘Don’, a fairly classic shape. The stummel has been sligthly sandblasted, revealing a tight grain pleasing to the eye. The ebonite stem is plugged in the shank in an army fitting (conical end of the stem). The shank is drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. The briar has more than 25 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced in 2017, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2017′.
