François Dal – Handmade 2022 – (on stem) δ |
Here is a somewhat heterogeneous shape in my production but nevertheless interesting since it was chosen by the commisionner : a variant of Tomato with a sloping and asymmetrical head. The smooth finish reveals well marked flames starting from the shank and growing towards the sides, as well as birdseyes on the top and forehead. A palmwood extension ends the shank and plays the transition with carribean blue acrylic handcut stem. The flock is made of Teflon and the shank is drilled to 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece (concave cut) is well opened in a V-shape for an optimal draw. The briar, of Italian origin, has had one year of drying at the supplier’s and four more years in my store.
