|François Dal – Tradition 2017 – (on stem) δ|
With its pencil shank and cumberland stem, this Lovat reveals all its charms, especially by its very nice detailed sandblasting. The stem is handcut from a Cumberland of German quality. The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The concave slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draw. Note the thinness of the bit before the button, unsuitable for ‘clenchers’ that tend to mark their stem. The briar has more than 20 years of drying in the drying rooms and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.
Produced in 2017, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2017’.
