François Dal – Tradition 2017 – (on stem) δ

Here is a Pot shape, with its characteristic broad chamber, often considered to be conducive to the right combustion of flake tobaccos. The finish is here rusticated and repolished, which gives it shiny areas. It is mounted with a gilded brass ferrule and a stem made of jaspered horn. The bit is deliberately wide, taking into account the natural tendency of the horn to be marked.  The flock is teflon and the shank drilled at 4.2mm. The slot of the mouthpiece is well open in V for an optimal draft. The briar has more than 20 years of drying in the drying roomss and granaries of Chacom in Saint-Claude.

Produced in 2017, it is therefore stamped ‘Tradition 2017’.

This pipe is new and has never been smoked.
The stummel is in pristine condition, showing no apparent stroke or claw.
The chamber is new, without cake.
The horn stem is new and there is no tooth mark and no claws.
