Hand made pipes

The ‘Handmade’ pipes are entirely made from quality raw materials: selected plateaux in Italian briar. The stems are also entirely handmade from German ebonite raw rods, as well as cumberland (ebonite colored in the mass) or acrylic (different colors available for these two materials). Exotic wood or horn are sometimes used for ornamentation.  The tenon is not cut in the mass of the stem, I prefer using teflon cones wich insure much more solidity and resistance to temperature variations.  The shank and the stem are drilled to a minimum of 4mm and the bore of the mouthpiece is deeply opened in V to ensure optimum draw.  In the same way, the bit is carved for a better comfort in mouth. Their finishes can as well be smooth, sandblasted or rusticated.
